aboutGOLF builds to the room. The enclosure is configured to your space, the tracking is overhead machine vision, and the system is assembled around what you have rather than what fits a standard footprint.

Tracking Technology

TruGolf — APOGEE and LaunchBox

APOGEE is an overhead photometric system that reads club and ball without marked balls or special clubs. LaunchBox is the portable unit, positioned beside the hitting area. Both are camera-based, both measure rather than estimate.

APOGEE's strength is speed and ease. Constant calibration means it stays ready, and the on-board processor pushes data to screen fast.

aboutGOLF — 3Trak

3Trak is overhead machine vision, mounted above the hitting area with nothing beside the ball. It captures the moment of impact through high-speed image sequences, reading the ball's full 3D vector.

Its strength is the edge cases — chips, putts, steep launch angles, low ball speeds. Situations where other systems get vague, 3Trak stays precise.

Software

TruGolf runs E6, which they own. E6 CONNECT and E6 Golf 26 carry over 15,000 courses, and licenses are available as owned products with no annual subscription. E6 also runs on FlightScope, Garmin, and Uneekor hardware if you ever change launch monitors.

aboutGOLF runs its own platform with 85+ championship courses — fewer in number, but each one built in full three-dimensional detail with real terrain and foliage. Up to eight new courses a year. Different philosophy: depth over breadth.
